Argumentaire du colloque > Axis 1: teaching context

This axis is an opportunity to study or compare the contexts and policies of different territories.  Proposals may respond to any of the following questions.

How does the education system, anchored in a specific educational context, facilitate, constrain or prevent the use of multilingualism?

Which recommendations and institutional organisations condition the use of pupils' first languages?

What analyses can be made of links between socio-educational and linguistic policies, teacher training and classroom practices?

How can we view the political choices that govern the legitimisation, or not, of resorting to (selective) multilingualism in the classes?

How have these choices evolved over time according to social, educational and linguistic policies, in conjunction with societal changes?

And what is their relevance and coherence in history, from a didactic point of view?

How does the teaching of a so-called non-linguistic subject fit into this organisation of schooling, determined either locally or by national policies?
