Argumentaire du colloque > Axis 2: classroom practices

This axis is an opportunity to introduce and analyse classroom practices in multilingual contexts, or contexts that are a priori monolingual with multilingual pupils, and to observe methods of introducing linguistic and multilingual work designed to facilitate learning, in this case in mathematics.  Proposals may choose to respond to any of the following questions.

What are the professional practices in classrooms that take into account the multilingual skills present within the teaching context?

How may classroom learning be oriented towards internal or external multilingualism?

What are the elements that promote linguistic and disciplinary acquisition?

What linguistic work can be carried out with pupils to encourage verbal interaction as part of learning mathematics?

How does this issue also impact on university courses or other training courses?

How is multilingualism taken into account during initial teacher education, or in training provided for other professionals working in the classroom?
